What Are Immediate Dentures?
Immediate dentures are complete or partial dentures fabricated in advance and placed immediately after your teeth are extracted. Unlike conventional dentures that require weeks of healing before fabrication, immediate dentures ensure you’re never without teeth during the healing process.
How Immediate Dentures Work
- Consultation & impressions — Dr. Abboud evaluates your teeth, takes impressions and records, and designs your new denture while your natural teeth are still in place.
- Fabrication — Your denture is crafted (either by our American lab partners or in-house with our SprintRay Pro 2 3D printer) before your extraction date.
- Extraction & delivery — On your scheduled day, Dr. Abboud removes the teeth and immediately places your new denture. You leave with a full smile.
- Soft reline (~2 weeks) — As initial swelling subsides, we adjust the fit with a soft reline — included in your price.
- Hard reline (6–12 months) — Once your gums and bone have fully healed, a hard reline ensures a precise, long-term fit.

3D-Printed Immediate Dentures (In-House)
Fabricated in our office using the SprintRay Pro 2 with High Impact Denture Resin and OnX Tough 2 teeth. A cost-effective option with faster turnaround. Hard reline at 6–12 months is a separate, affordable service.
Both options include a soft reline at approximately 2 weeks post-delivery.

Will immediate dentures need adjustments?
Yes — that’s normal and expected. Your gums change shape as they heal. We include a soft reline at ~2 weeks and a hard reline at 6–12 months to keep the fit comfortable.
What’s the difference between immediate and conventional dentures?

Do you place implants too?
