How it works: Dr. Abboud will write you a prescription for a mild sedative that you’ll pick up from your pharmacy ahead of your appointment. You’ll take the medication as directed before arriving at our office, so by the time you’re in the chair, you’ll already feel calm and relaxed.
What to expect:
- You’ll feel deeply relaxed but remain conscious
- You may feel drowsy and have limited memory of the procedure
- A responsible adult must drive you to and from your appointment
- Ideal for longer procedures like extractions, implant placement, or multiple treatments in one visit
